Mid State Fire Prevention specializes in cleaning of all types of commercial kitchen hood exhaust systems. Although we utilize a variety of methods to professionally clean hoods, ductwork and exhaust fans, the two most common techniques used are high pressure hot water power washing and manual grease removal. Often the two are skillfully used in tandem to effectively clean an exhaust system.
We provide kitchen exhaust system cleaning in accordance with NFPA '96 fire codes and in compliance with Ohio Department of Health Services requirements.  Additionally, our services will satisfy insurance company requirements for required periodic cleaning of the kitchen exhaust system & ventilation hoods.

Mid-State Fire Prevention also provide pressure washing for concrete sidewalks, loading dock and dumpster areas, and exhaust fan preventative maintenance.  

We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for scheduled maintence and emergency (health or fire department violation) service.
